The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan's Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
This is one of FBC's farthest reaching mission endeavors. Each year, we strive to piece together and send over 2000 shoe boxes across the globe. We always need more volunteers as we prepare year-round for this mission opportunity. This is one of the easiest ways for the whole family to engage in missions and creates an opportunity for parents to teach their children about giving and the Gospel.
